Since ancient times, physicians have been concerned with the arterial pulse. It is one of the most fundamental vital signs in clinical medicine, then as now. The arterial pulse wave is influenced by the circulatory system and therefore contains a lot of information about its condition. Today, using the ARCSolver for computational Pulse Wave Analysis, we can analyze the pulse wave more comprehensively than ever before, providing valuable insights into the state of the cardiovascular system.
The ARCSolver is a software module certified in accordance with the Medical Device Regulation (MDR, European Union Regulation 2017/745). It performs retrospective Pulse Wave Analysis on recorded data from suitable pressure sensors, such as blood pressure measurement cuffs. The ARCSolver is intended to be integrated into other software systems, especially those supporting professional medical users in the assessment of cardiovascular characteristics. By integrating ARCSolver, our customers can elevate their products, offering advanced cardiovascular insights to their clientele.
Who we are
We are an experienced team of mathematicians, physicists, and software engineers in the Medical Signal Analysis group at the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology. Together, we bring many decades of experience in the field of mathematical modelling and signal processing in medical areas, especially in the cardiovascular system. Our numerous collaborations with physicians and clinics enable us to keep our finger on the pulse of the time with our developments, both technically and medically.
One more very successful outcome of these collaborations is the comprehensive EEG analysis software encevis.
